(REFUSE) At the end of 1989, political changes were taking place in Eastern Europe. This process also had a huge impact on the development of local scenes. Poznań became one of the most progressive and creative places on the map, bringing a new wave of Polish HC. At the same time, as it turned out, a significant change not only for the local scene but also nationwide – the band H.C.P. split up and two of the former members started immediately a new band called Apatia. They became one of the most important Hardcore Punk bands in Poland, and impressively survived for the next 22 years. Their first demo was recorded in 1990, and since then has appeared only in the form of two split tapes with H.C.P. This material shows a band in its original and raw form. This debut recording was heavily inspired by the fast US and Italian HC of the 80s with some pieces of Polish Punk/HC as well from the same era. The material that appears on vinyl contains this demo, which included eleven songs, including two songs from H.C.P. times (“Młodzi faszyści” and “Motto”). This LP is a one-time pressing of 330 copies and it’s coming out with an additional booklet with an interview, lyrics and photos. Mastering by Smok (Post Regiment, As One Studio) and covers artwork by Pała (Amen, “Zakazany Owoc” zine).
