Demo cassette from this new band out of Winnipeg Canada. Though Winnipeg is pretty provincial, this is right up there with plenty of the stuff coming out of the big city these days. On first listen Indignari remind me a lot of LA’s Blazing Eye… like that band, they weld nasty, GISM-style growled vocals with music that is a little more adventurous and almost artsy, a la Toxic State bands like Crazy Spirit or Dawn of Humans. More than just your basic punk riffs welded together, these songs writhe and move with lots of dynamics and particularly striking lead guitar. A killer demo from an out-of-the-way locale.
