Fourteen tracks that range from classic punk rock to post punk, coldwave and shoegaze while keeping a strong cohesive identity and personality running throughout. This is a record filled with layers of complexity that wash over and engrosses you. If this was released in the 1980s it would have been a gamechanger. Although they take leads from bands like the Cure, Sisters of Mercy , Joy Division and Xmal Deutchland they bring the sound to current times. The way each track is constructed leaves room for each instrument, from the snaking lead lines to meaty bass on top of the drums which provides the foundations for the vocals to shine.
