Wait! What? It's time for Splin! They have enormous potential to make some serious buzz Just check what they to offer - and what they they have to offer is fast, highly energetic hardcore rooted in the classic sound of early 80s Washington DC HC (Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Scream) with elements of what was created there in the second half of the decade (Rites Of Spring, One Last Wish, Fugazi), enriched with a fresh, original perspective. On top of that, there are echoes of the more aggressive sounds known from the outputs of Scandinavian bands. This is hardcore well aware of its roots, but operating here and now. The lineup consists of members with previous experience in bands such as AFTER LAUGHTER, MOIRA, BRUDNE CZYNY, ZAWODY, and SLAVENKUST.
The debut 12-inch vinyl “Type of Love” was recorded and mixed by Splin drummer Maciej Dzikiewicz at his own Waiting Room Studio in Oświęcim, and mastered at the legendary Salad Days Studio by Brian McTernan (Battery, Be Well). KLĄTWA

KLĄTWA (The Curse) is one of the best new bands in Polski Hardcore Punk scene of recent months. They already made some buzz in the local scene and is now bursting onto new territories. So now it's a time for even more – their first seven-inch with four tracks is coming soon. They were also released on a limited edition cassette, which sold out immediately, released by the band. They are filled to the brim with sound, in which the dust from pogo during performances by Siekiera or Abaddon at Jarocin 84 floats, and over which a thick bullet belt from Swedish d-beat masters Anti Cimex is waved. On top of that, it reeks of the more savagery bands of contemporary US hardcore punk, led by Warthog. The lineup includes members of the bands such as GOVERNMENT FLU, MORON'S MORONS, SANITY CONTROL, CALM THE FIRE, BAGNA, CONTRA LA CONTRA, and MORAL IMPLANT. One thing is certain—there will be no mercy.

Straight Edge Hardcore outfit Modern Guilt are back with their debut full-length “Mind The Trap”. Without question their heaviest, hardest, and most urgent release to date. NERVE CENTER

DAMAGE IS DONE 12" PRE-ORDER

Nerve Center is a Berlin based hardcore punk band with members from Germany, Peru, and Mexico. The band combines different elements across the genre and blends them together into noisy, mid-tempo hardcore built on stompy riffs, blown-out feedback and reverbed vocals.

Started in 2024 as a side project by Julia (vocals, bass) and Hugo (Guitar; Löri, Soplon; ex-Reciklaje), they became a full band after teaming-up with Donovan (Löri, D’co; ex-Korre Sangre) on the drums in Summer 2025. The first 12” was recorded shortly after at ADK Studios Berlin, mixed by Will Dead Air and mastered by Charles Toshio. Jakob (Shiv) later joined on bass to complete the line-up, adding more dynamics and stage presence.

With sonic references to classic hardcore and the attitude of the original hardcore scene, Bloque recaptures the essence of what this musical genre is and highlights the importance of keeping up the fight, not giving up, and continuing to build block by block.

REAGNITION

Reagnition 12"

It would be easy and convenient to describe this release as ‘the debut album of a new band from Warsaw’, but that would be a very incomplete description. The history of the songs on this album is longer than the project itself. It dates back to 1996, when the sketches of the compositions were created, which were intended to be included on AGNI HOTRA's second album. Almost 25 years later, they were revisited, refreshed, rearranged and finally recorded at Mustache Ministry Studio by Jarosław Składanek (the aforementioned Agni Hotra, as well as Cymeon X and Kto Ukradł Ciastka), Piotr Grabiński (Sunrise, Iron To Gold, Last Item, among others), Daniel Kryj (Sunrise) and Arek Lerch (Sunrise, Czerń). The only piece missing from the puzzle was the vocals, which were provided by Art Jagódka (After Laughter), who recorded the vocal lines at Waiting Room Studio in May 2024. Reduced to a four-piece line-up, they played their first concert in March '25 (at the Refuse Records Showcase in Warsaw) and are currently planning more. Spread between Warsaw, Krakow and Stockholm, the band's location is no obstacle to them visiting your town. Keep that in mind.
For all those into 90s HC, we recommend reaching for this 12”. Created by people who co-created that scene back then and co-create today's scene, generating a multitude of valuable projects over the years, which are now an important part of the history of the Polish Hardcore scene. With this line-up, you can expect only the highest quality. And that is exactly what we get with this release.

JUST SAY GO! LP

GO! burst onto the New York Hardcore scene in 1989, and over two years recorded four 7″eps, played lots of shows, toured the US and Europe, and were active in NY’s ABC-No-Rio scene, with contemporaries SFA, Born Against, Rorschach, and Citizen’s Arrest. GO! covered serious topics (including gay and lesbian rights, racism, feminism) but tossed in fun songs, too, making a statement while keeping their sense of humor and sarcasm. “Just Say GO!” Includes most of GO!’s 1989-91 output, including “And the Time is Now,” “Your Power Means Nothing,” “Why Suffer?” and “There is No Man” 7″eps, plus the GO!/Bad Trip split 7″ep and songs off of compilations. 59 tracks LP w/ gatefold cover and 16-page booklet.

ABSURDITY OF THIS WORLD LP

After almost four years, this beloved outfit is back. Having performed at numerous shows and festivals throughout the former Yugoslav region, as well as in Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria, they have now recorded 12 new songs. This time, they tracked everything as a five-piece. Adding a second guitar player resulted in longer, better-structured songs, packed with amazing riffs and powerful breakdowns.

Lyrically, the band is even angrier and more politically charged-driven by the current situations in Serbia and the Middle East, and unafraid to call problems by their name, speaking out against global injustice fueled by greed, colonialism, and rising chauvinism in any form.

Absurdity of This World draws heavily from the old-style of hardcore punk, blending traditional US hardcore with European classics. Think a perfect mix of JERRY’S KIDS, POISON IDEA and TOTALITAR, charged with the ferocity of newer bands like SCARECROW and GLAM. The result is more than 20 minutes of relentless, hard-hitting hardcore punk.

The LP is pressed in 390 copies. Each record comes with a double-sided insert featuring photos and lyrics, plus an additional printed poster illustrated by Zerominded. POINT OF NO RETURN

GLOVES ARE OFF 7"EP

Dutch POINT OF NO RETURN was a short lived militant radical leftist hard-edge band from Kerkrade-West, which existed between 1989-1991. During their time they managed to release one legendary demo where they mixed provocation and fun with radical politics and straight edge in the style of bands like Project X and especially Colt Turkey. In their lyrics, on stage, in interviews, everywhere PONR portrayed themselves as this extreme HxE group.
Obviously not everyone got the joke, but that made it even more funny. Until they noticed things were getting a little out of hand. That’s when they decided it was enough, 1991.
By then Rob, Roger and Mike already had another project up and running, FEEDING THE FIRE. Their serious band, so to say. Which was already getting some attention and was getting pretty active.
They had fun, they ridiculed that stupid radical US thing, pissed off and/or confused quite some people locally and wherever else, but in the meantime also made a lot of new friends and were more focused than ever on getting out there voicing their opinion!
This is a vinyl reissue of their self-released demo from 1990. 9 tracks incl. a cover of the early 80’s Boston’s band DECADENCE. Feat. an 8-page booklet and sticker.

“Backlash” is their first full length album after all these years. From Below brings together members from North Carolina’s political hardcore band Catharsis—Matt (guitar) and Ernie (bass), São Paulo’s vegan straight edge veterans Point of No Return—Fred (vocals), and North Carolina’s forlorn post-punk act Bellafea—Nathan (drums). The result of this unlikely combination is nothing like what you might expect: raw and fast d-beat seasoned hardcore punk influenced by the likes of Discharge, Corrosion of Conformity, Crumbsuckers, Christian Death, Cro-Mags, Wolfbrigade, and Disfear.

AHIMSA

“Słońce świeci dla wszystkich (1991-1992)” 2xLP OUT NOW!

Warsaw's AHIMSA was one of the most important bands of the independent hardcore scene of the early 90’s. They were often mentioned in one breath together with APATIA, INKWIZYCJA or SCHIZMA. AHIMSA blazed trails, opened doors, made people think, and strongly inspired people with their message to take action and work on themselves. The band launched in 1989 and was one of the first fully vegetarian groups in the Polish scene. They were also one of the first national bands and one of the few in Europe at the time who adhered to abstinence and straight edge principles. More important in their message, however, were the themes of support for animal rights, ecology, humanism, self-realisation and the promotion of non-violent principles. At a time of political transformation, when violence erupted regularly at shows and on the streets, this was a very bold, if not revolutionary, demand. AHIMSA’s activism on behalf of animal rights and environmental protection went beyond their music many times. They participated in pickets, blockades, demonstrations and conveyed their ideas through media coverage. They sang the words, "In activism your strength, in activism your opposition" and lived by this, while at the same time involving and inviting others to do the same. They were among those who shaped the ideas of a conscious and active underground scene, whose values and principles are still prevalent today. From the very beginning, their sound strongly diverged from local standards. They were listening to fresh and progressive hardcore records released in the second half of the 80’s by Dischord Records or Alternative Tentacles Records, especially ones by groups like FUGAZI, VERBAL ASSAULT, BEEFEATER, RHYTHM PIGS, NOMEANSNO and VICTIMS FAMILY. Some of these bands performed in Warsaw at the time, and Pete Chramiec from Verbal Assault even attended one of AHIMSA’s rehearsals.
This double album documents the band's period of activity before the release of studio albums on a bigger label. It contains recordings from 1991 and 1992, which were originally released on the self-released cassette “Słońce świeci dla wszystkich” along with both 7”s - 'Ahimsa and Ex pert' released on Harmony Records (recorded with Ex Pert from INKWIZYCJA), as well as the 'Sami przed sobą' 7" released on Heartcore Records. Mastering was completed mostly from the original tapes and was done by Smok and Mario / Studio AS One. Layout by Jarosław Składanek. Double vinyl release is accompanied by 24 page 30x30 booklet with liner notes, lyrics, photos, as well as tour and flyers. One-time pressing limited to 451 copies.
