(Loony Tunes) Anarcho Punk, Hardcore band ACTIVE MINDS from Scarborough, UK, formed in january 1986, have done tons of releases on vinyl, tape and it´s nearly impossible to find a bad one amongst these. The new album „Things That Cannot Be Unseen“ (their full album number seven) is a good example for the quality of the band: people that are already familiar with ACTIVE MINDS have some expectations in a new release and here with this new LP even very high expectations are topped. Eleven songs are on this album and each of them is a masterpiece, you can see that the band has a high claim in quality: music, lyrics and even the liner notes are far beyond the normal standard. ACTIVE MINDS know how to do faster, thrashing songs as well as they are able to do highly melodic ones, lyrics are well-done, topics are different and even the liner notes are thoughtful and are far away from preaching. ACTIVE MINDS sets standards in doing D.I.Y. Punk, Hardcore music and hopefully they will do more such great releases in the future. This LP is pressed on Black vinyl, 500 copies were done, the album is housed in a full-coloured LP pocket cover and a twelve-paged lyric booklet is included.
