(Pasażer) Perhaps the most important album of Polish punk rock! When we were stuck up to our waists in the communist mud, Joey Shithead from the band DOA, after concerts in Poland in 1985, dismayed by the realities faced by Polish punk rockers, took from DEZERTER all the recordings they had at their disposal at the time (Wawrzyszew studio 1983, a fragment of Jarocin 84, PR studio 1985) and organised the release of the album ‘Underground out of Poland’ by the American fanzine Maximum Rock’n’Roll. This was DEZERTER’s full-length debut. The album has passed into legend and is quintessentially 80s Polish punk rock, or indeed its entire history. The album comes with a large booklet with lyrics and unique photos, mostly by Michal Wasążnik.
