(Pasażer+Noise Annoys) Perhaps one of the last undiscovered pages in the history of Polish punk rock. INSEKTY from Łódź, in the mid-1980s, plundered harsh and usually fast punk in the climate of Discharge/ Exploited/ Disorder with Polish, political lyrics. Due to their bad luck, they didn’t become legends like the friendly Moskwa, but especially in and around Lodz, they are still a cult band to this day – their track ‘For You’ was played by Homomilitia at one time. Despite several approaches, they did not show up at Jarocin, although in their time they were considered the fastest playing band in Poland. They sometimes used the name Insekty Na Jajach, but decided to shorten it and stick to INSEKTY. On the vinyl you will find extensive excerpts from the demo at Jarocin 1985, and the last rehearsal of the flagship line-up from the same year. The recordings are of raw quality, but ooze the authenticity of Polish punk. Two large inserts full of colour photos from almost 40 years ago shine! (Jarek put it together beautifully).
