Nothing Works’ debut EP delivers four songs of urgency, honesty, and confrontation —

blending raw emotion with sharp critique. “Bold Talk for a Burner Account” draws straight

from lived experience: racism in punk spaces, fatphobic trolling, gender erasure, and the

burnout of carrying other people’s weight in DIY scenes. It’s personal and political — calling

out exclusion while reclaiming space.

Musically, it’s a step forward. Still rooted in the gritty, riff-heavy DNA of Drug Church, Bikini

Kill and Gouge Away, the new lineup brings in melodic edges inspired by pop-punk and At

the Drive-In. The result: cathartic, direct, and heavy with intent. No filler. No compromise.
