(REFUSE+BITTER MELODY)  North Carolina hardcore band ŻEGOTA took their name from Polish humanitarian underground organisation operating during WWII and German occupation with a task to organise aid to Jews in and outside of ghettos.

Musically Żegota was all over the place. Punk, hardcore, jazz and world elements swirl. Their message merged personal and political.  Seeing them was a mind blowing experience.  They released three albums and an EP in their decade plus run.  Their 1997 demo was legendary and almost long lost. 1998 demo that was totally forgotten even by the band. Never released before.  The 1998 demo has three demo versions of songs that would be on Movement in the Music and one rerecorded version of a 1997 demo song.  We did some fancy colors for this special release.
