(P.I.G.) It had been five years (2018-2023) since the Screaming Bloody Mary’s last release, and they plan on many more. They started in 1989 and they’ll be no lengthy hiatuses in the future according to guitar player Dave Dalton, “If we take off any more five-year periods we’ll be dead. We fell silent during the COVID years but still plan on recording now that we can play live again. They go hand in hand.” He also added a bunch of expletives which we edited out. ‘Tuppence’ is a new power pack of Screaming Bloody Mary’s music starting off with “Tommy Roe”, a cowpunk blast reminiscent of The Dils or Rank and File. “Ten Minute Warning” is another masterpiece that was a writing collaboration between Danny Norwood of Social Unrest and the Screaming Bloody Marys.
